I was born and raised in Texas, but born in El Paso and raised in Dallas. I developed a passion for photography and graphic design in high school. Upon graduating, I decided to move to Washington, D.C. to study Photojournalism at the Corcoran School of Art and Design at the George Washington University. Half way through my first year of college, I made the switch to my other passion— Graphic Design. Much of my design work is grounded in photography and visual imagery. Thankfully design and photography go hand in hand, allowing me to experiment with two of my favorite things. I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design in May of 2018 and began working for Spaeth Hill in Alexandria, Virginia.
Outside of photography and design, my hobbies include reading, listening to music, knitting / crocheting, traveling, and exploring all that Washington, D.C. has to offer. I'm 5ft tall but nothing about my personality is small—I'm an ENFJ and my birthday falls on the Sagittarius and Capricorn cusp. I love cats, tea, food, long naps, movies, and shoes. My friends call me Lil Kim, Kimmy, and Mini.
Shameless plug: I also run an Instagram account (@_kimberlyknits) where I post all of my current and past projects. My mom thinks it's pretty cool.
